First Shoot of 2010

Nothing excites me more than creating something completely fresh…shots I had never achieved before. At Shelley & Kenny’s wedding, I created quite a few of them. Here are two, fresh from the wedding on Sunday.

High key, just next to a large window…Never shot a bride wearing red shoes with white gown. Hey it is a new year. Why not? EV +3 does the trick.

When the sun was completely gone, I was glad I still have available light. Well, I have five units of flash in my bag available to me. WB set to Tungsten. Flash was gelled with 1 full cut of CTO. Backlight. Triggered with Radiopoppers. Gosh…I love gels & Radiopoppers. They open up so much possibilities for my work.

Great photos Louis. Am still brushing up my High-key skills (*receive few critics from friends when they saw my high key photos (i.e. ‘why overexpose?’, ‘why make the background overexpose & making subject dark’ etc etc)..
